Great night in Tahoe

So - Amy and I had a night to ourselves up in Tahoe. Had a nice dinner, etc. We ended up at Zephyr Cove beach after dark. We took a blanket and I had my camera - so I snapped a couple of shots of the stars (see below). After, we were just admiring the view, and I looked to my right and not ten feet from our blanket was a big black bear heading toward us. We saw him first, we stood up, he stopped, we had about a ten second standoff, he ran one way, and we moved quickly the other way. OMG - super fun!
